This window is used when a production recipe is prepared. Producing the production recipe removes the recipe’s ingredients from stock and receives a quantity of the production item. Production recipes are used when inventory items are converted into another inventory item and cannot be converted back to their original ingredients. Pizza sauce and bread are examples of production recipes. Production recipes must be “produced” in the Inventory system manually as a batch of the production recipe is prepared in the restaurant.
